Copenhagen South West
A series of black and white images depicting an area in Copenhagen once being a mixed industrial and mostly low-income area, now becoming an area of interest for intense redevelopment. Prior to this, being regarded as the outskirts of the city, Copenhagen South West for decades had been neglected by the city authorities and investors, leaving the area's more desolate places as a retreat for tramps, transients, prostitutes, drug addicts, and of course graffiti artists. With the redevelopment one can only hope, that a few of this area's distinctive places will be preserved to tell the story of it's past. If not, then these images may stand as a silent tribute to a strange but somewhat magical area, from a time when things were a little less organized.
